Calling it a day

The wonderful day yesterday ended with the most beautiful note as the day turned to night. As we were driving through Loch Raven Reservoir, we stopped to catch the brilliant hues of the sky as the sun set. The geese turned out in numbers as well. The spectacle lasted for merely a few minutes with the geese visiting the shore before calling it a day and floating away into the marshes once again as darkness set in……
